I have presented three projects at the annual autumn creative gathering of author pedagogy about which I would like to speak in detail.

Talks about history: The basic aim of this project is to consolidate those who are interested in history (learners, parents, other beneficiaries).

One of the objectives of the project is to introduce some interesting and substantial parts of our history to the participants without using the history text-books.

We will find out the scope of participants’ interests. We will also study what interpretations are given to the same topic in different sources, what facts haven’t been published so far or have been left out. An attempt will be made to interconnect the key events of the Armenian and World History.

We will also study what interpretations are given to the same topic in different sources, what facts are haven’t been published so far or have been left out. An attempt will be made to interconnect the key events of the Armenian and World History.

The project will be implemented without taking into account the standard historical chronology. The work is intended to be done in groups. Everybody can take part in it irrespective of the basis of their knowledge. The topics can have no connection with each other, and they can be suggested by the participants. On person can’t suggest all the topics. Speeches can be made either by the learners or other participants depending on the level of their competency.

The project work can be done continually. In the result of this we can make up articles, teaching materials, video lessons. They can be used in history, ethnography, cultural studies and other fields of social studies.

Creation of the web site hanragitak.com:  The aim of the project is to have an informative-encyclopedic website which will not only have some similarity with Wikipedia will also have fascinating and little known facts.

One of the objectives of the project is to have learners and teachers with appropriate skills: collecting information, checking the authenticity of the information, publishing, constant updating of the database. The projects anticipate getting some profit out of advertisements published on the project site.

The project is strongly connected with educational activities, as the collection of the materials for the site and its updating is implemented by the learners according to preferences and professional orientation. This work will be especially important for the members of the programmers’ club as it is they who will do the website service.

The work will start in October and there will not be any limitations of the fields where the final products of the project will be used.

Dying Museums: There are a lot of villages in Armenia having various museums which are not working. In these museums there are a huge number of items which will lose their values in the course of time because of lack of care. It should be especially taken into consideration that the people in charge do not make particular efforts to preserve these items, restore them or move them to a safer place.

At the first stage of the project the learner participants will study the museum work. They will study the current state of the museums and will make up a list of the museums which are working and those which are not. Then they will choose the museums which are interesting from their point of view (10 museums).

Once every two weeks they will go on an educational trip to a chosen museum. The museum materials, the item names will be digitized and published. In the result of this we will have an educational packet which will comprise numerous museum materials and items.

The project results will be applied in different fields.

This project can also be implemented with working museums. For example, the Shiraz Home Museum in Gyumri wants to digitize the existing materials.
